Founder – Steph Austin
Steph Austin is the founder of Prima Cura Training, a UK-based provider of professional first aid & health and social care training. She holds full TAQA suite qualifications, covering teaching, assessing, and leading internal quality assurance (IQA), and has extensive experience working within the health and social care sector.
Steph delivers a broad range of courses, including First Aid, mandatory health and social care subjects, and selected clinical topics such as PEG care. Her approach focuses on ensuring that learners not only meet compliance standards but also gain practical, confident skills they can apply in real settings.
Prima Cura Training is an authorised training provider through the Healthcare Trainers Network (HTN), WorkSafe Training Systems, and the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). The organisation is also a registered member of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
Steph is a former member of the Skills for Care Personalised Health Budget Steering Committee, contributing to sector-wide development and best practice in care training.
